SURFACE BIOKIT®
The Biokit® surface is achieved by sandblasting followed by a double acid etching process on the implant surface and finally a decontamination process with cold argon plasma.
This procedure achieves a microtopography on the implant surface similar to the bone structure, giving the implant surface a homogeneous macro-micro porosity.
This homogeneity of the surface, with average values between peaks of 2 microns, favors its wettability and, therefore, the retention of the coagulum, promoting the adhesion of osteoblastic cells that initiate osteogenesis.
